BETHUNE-COOKMAN UNIVERSITY TO HOST ‘THE BIG GIVE BACK’ ON JUNE 18
Annual Fundraiser Invites Wildcats to ‘Return to Invest’ and
Honor Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune’s Legacy
Bethune-Cookman University is calling all Wildcats to “Return to Invest” on June 18 as part of ‘The Big Give Back.’ The goal is to raise $200,000 for scholarships and educational programming designed to prepare students for service after graduation as the next generation of leaders.
The initiative is this year’s official kick-off event to celebrate Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune’s 150th birthday. There will be three ways to participate:
- Online: https://cookman.scalefunder.com/gday/
- By phone: (386) 481-2950
- In person: Doran Building, 1020 W. International Speedway Blvd., Suite 200, Daytona Beach, Fla. 32114
“Every financial gift made during our annual Wildcat Day of Giving becomes a catalyst for change,” said Dr. Sherry Paramore, Vice President of Institutional Advancement at B-CU. “Whether you’re an alum giving back or a community partner investing forward, your support helps create opportunities for students to rise, thrive, and serve – proving ‘Nothing is Impossible.’”
In addition to accepting any gift amount from all prospective donors, B-CU is calling Wildcats to give a one-time gift of $1,000 (or just $83.34/month), to become a Bethune Legacy Circle member, honoring Dr. Bethune’s commitment to education and leadership.
Each Bethune Legacy Circle member's leadership gift includes:
• A commemorative gift box
• Campus plaque with giver's name
• Name on IA Website
