The Diggle Scholarship shall be awarded by the School of Business at the University (the Scholarship Committee). The Scholarship Committee shall review all applicants for the Diggle Scholarship and select up to five finalists to be considered for the Diggle Scholarship. The Donor (who may appoint up to two family members each semester) shall be allowed to review the finalists selected each semester by the Scholarship Committee and they may give their comments in writing to the Scholarship Committee.
Note: due to federal regulations, under the FERPA Laws, the names of, and other identifying information about, the finalists selected by the Scholarship Committee, will not be released to the Donor.
The scholarship shall be awarded to the recipient selected by the University unless however, it is determined by the University’s Financial Aid Office, that the finalist has reached her/his financial aid “budget” limit, in which case the student is not eligible to receive the Diggle Scholarship as additional financial aid. In such cases, a second finalist, who meets the criteria stated above and has not exceeded his/her financial aid budget, will be awarded the Diggle Scholarship.
1. Must be a full-time student
2. Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 and minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 in the concentration.
3. Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Management, Economics or International Business and have completed at least one academic term as a School of Business major.
4. This scholarship shall be awarded to the recipients above and beyond any financial aid, scholarships, or awards received by the recipient.
5. Recipients of the scholarship are encouraged to support the goals and purposes of the fund and meet with members of the donor’s family.
6. The Scholarship is awarded by a School of Business Scholarship Committee.
